Lumber Company was defeated in JPD Tuesday night "B" league action by Ken's Beverage with the final score Ken's 22, Lumber Co. 7. Again Ken's showed the LoCo why they are the best USSSA "B" team in Illinois if not the midwest. Having good nights for the Lumber Co. were J.Lesnik 2-2, 2RBIs; J.Behun 2-2; M.Staab 1-1, 1 BB, 2 RBIs; S.Munday 1-1, 2 RBIs and B.Munday 1-1, 1 BB. LoCo's next game is Friday night at 6:30pm on field #4 against a different Ken's Beverage team.
Lumber Company's Friday night JPD "B" league record improved to 5-1. LoCo received a forfeit victory over Sharp Sports/Larsen's Corner as only one player from their team showed up for the Friday night contest. LoCo's next game is Tuesday night at 7:30pm on field #6 against Ken's Beverage. LoCo then plays a different Ken's Beverage team on Friday night at 6:30pm on field #4. The week will be capped off by a USSSA "D" Qualifier in Belvidere, IL on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th.

In JPD Friday Night "B" league action Lumber Company thumped Marchelloni/30 Buck 15-0 in 3 innings. The win moves the LoCo's record to 4-1 in Friday Night "B" league action. The Lumber Company offense was powered by E.Boe, 3-3, 2 HRs, 2 RBIs; R.Nurczyk, 3-3, 1 HR, 3 RBIs and M.Wallace, 2-2, 1 HR, 2 RBIs. B.Walsh, B.Munday, M.Staab, K.Wallace, J.Lesnik and S.Munday all added 2 hits a piece. Lumber Company's next game is Tuesday night at 7:30 on field #6 against Uncle Richies.

Lumber Company's next game is Friday night at 7:30pm on filed #2 against 30 Buck/Marchelloni.

Boe, 3-3, 1 HR, 5 RBIs; J.Filas, 4-4, 4 RBIs; B.Walsh, 3-3; J.Lesnik, 3-3; S.Munday 3-3 and J.Behun 2-2, 1 BB. LoCo hopes to carrier the momentum from this game into Saturday's USSSA "D" NIT play.
