Posted by Jim Allen at Jan 7, 2006 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
The official trainers for Little League International are coming to North Miami Beach!

Al & Al, whose training materials have been the official Little League coaching training material for years, will be training our managers and coaches on Sunday, January 22, 2006, at the North Miami Beach Senior High School Gymnasium.

There will be two sessions one from 8:00am - 12:15,  for managers of kids 9-12.  (NEW: Al & Al have added an extra session from 12:15 to 1:15 for Juniors and tournament managers and coaches.) The second session will be from 1:45 (note the new start time, previously 12:30) to 4:30 p m for managers of kids 5-8.  This is a mangers and coaches only clinic--no kids allowed.

As the clinic is participatory, please wear tennis shoes (please no black soled shoes) and bring your glove.  This is a great opportunity for Mangers to learn new drills, and gain valuable knowledge about managing your  little league baseball team.  Al & Al are nationally known for their inovative and fun skill sessions.  image

What's New

Posted by Jim Allen at Dec 15, 2005 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
January 24, 2006. The Al & Al Clinic was a big success! For materials that Al discussed at the clinic, including the plan for the mini-L-screen, see the handout below. anuary 5, 2006. Happy New Year! As we do every year, the NMBOLL has adopted Local Rules that go beyond what is required by Little League. You can (and should!) review them; you can find them in the Handout Section. December 16, 2005. Well, now our teams have names! Hopefully, by now your managers have called you to tell you you're on their team.

Decmeber 16, 2005. Homer Simpson and I will let you know in this space what's new on the web site. Today, we have added our 2006 teams to the site. Unfortunately, they don't yet have real team names--just the names of the managers. Based on the requests from the managers, we will be naming the teams soon. We will also be adding the rosters to the web site in the near future, so check back often!
