If you are between 7 and 14 and you missed the tryouts this weekend, you have one last chance to do so: Tuesday, November 7, between 7 and 9 p.m. at Uleta Field. LL requires ALL players in Minors and above to try out, so don't forget!

Tryouts for the Minors Jr., Minors and Majors Divisions will occur on Saturday November 4, 2006 and Sunday November 5, 2006 at Allen Field - 1770 N.E. 162nd Street, North Miami Beach, Florida 33179. Tryouts for Juniors will take place only on Sunday November 5th. All players should come on one of the scheduled days, bring their glove and arrive at the following time: Division Last Name (See below) Begins with: Time Minors Jr. A-M 9:00 N-Z 9:45 Minors: A-M 10:30 N-Z 11:30 Majors: A-M 1:00 N-Z 1:45 Juniors: A-Z 3:00 (Sunday Nov. 5th only) Minors Jr. - Age 7 or age 8 by April 30, 2007. 6 year olds may try out for this division IF they have 1 year of T-ball experience. Minors - Age 9 or age 10 by April 30, 2007. NOTE: 8 year olds may try out for this division, particularly if they already have 2 years of Minors Jr. experience. However, the League strongly recommends that such an 8 year old ALSO try out during his or her Minors Jr. time slot, in the event he or she is not placed on a Minors team. Majors - Age 11 or age 12 by April 30, 2007. NOTE: 10 year olds may try out for this division, particularly if they already have 2 years of Minors experience. However, the League strongly recommends that such an 10 year old ALSO try out during his or her Minors time slot, in the event he or she is not placed on a Majors team. Juniors - Age 13 or age 14 by April 30, 2007 The tryout makeup date for all divisions will take place on November 7, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Uleta Field - 16880 N.E. 4th Avenue, North Miami Beach, Florida 33162

The NMBLL will conduct its registration on October 21 and 22, 2006. (Make-up on October 24.) These times are updated--previously they were listed as October 14 and 15. Registration will take place at Mishcon Field, NE 15th Ave. and 165th Street, between 11 A.M. and 4 P.M. There will be no online registration this year, so be sure to mark the date!

On July 25, the voting membership of the NMBLL gathered for their annual meeting, and to elect their Board of Directors for the 2007 season. For the first time in recent history, there were more candidates than the 15 Directors the membership decided to have this year.
