EMEA Junior Baseball Tournament

What are the Umpires Duties at the EMEA Junior Baseball Tournament?

Dan Hrigora, one of our District 33 staff umpires has been assigned to umpire at the EMEA Junior Baseball Tournament in Kutno, Poland beginning July 2nd to July 9th.

Dan has volunteer to give us some insight and photos of what it's like to umpire a baseball tournament in Poland. Dan will be sharing his thought with everyone on our District 33 Facebook page. We will also have shirt available for purchase in our snack bar during the tournament and welcome dinner. I will send you a seperate email with the shirt design. Shirts will cost 15 Dollars each.

District 33 along with Murphy Canyon Little League is proud to host the first ever "Murphy Canyon Little League International Tournament" featuring a team from Russia beginning August 5th through August 7th at MCLL Damato field. We would like to extend an invitation to everyone in San Diego to the games to show fan support for all the teams involved.

The Moscow Cardinals will arrive in San Diego on July 27th. Many activities are planned for their visit, if you would like to share an experience with the team, please contact Shannon Thomas Vice President of Baseball Murphy Canyon Little League vicepresident@murphycanyonlittleleague.com for details on how you can make an experience that they will never forget.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

International Baseball Experience

Murphy Canyon Little League
is proud to host the Moscow Cardinals International Baseball Experience July 27th – August 10th 2011.  We are currently looking for host families to show the Moscow Cardinals the chance to see what baseball life is like in America and District 33. The Moscow Cardinals were founded in 1999 and they are based in Moscow, Russia. The mission is to “Promote and develop baseball in Russia by providing equal opportunities to train and play for free.  They will be in San Diego for 2 weeks to train with District 33 Little Leagues, attend clinics hosted by District 33, Player and Coaches camps, attend a Padres game, visit Little League Western Region facility in San Bernardino and play in the first ever International Tournament hosted by Murphy Canyon Little League. If you have questions about how to become a host family please see the info below. We are looking for volunteers to make the International Baseball Experience one to remember by all.

Everest Youth Sports, an internet broadcast network, video recorded three District 33 Major TOC games during the Tournament.  EYSports recorded two games at Chollas Lake Little League and District Major Division TOC Chamionship Game at Murphy Canyon Little League "Damato Field". All the games are available to view on-line for free, just go to their website and click on Video on Demand. Everest Youth Sports, an internet broadcast network, will be video recording two District 33 Major TOC games this week.  EYS will be at Chollas Lake Little League on Wednesday June 15th @ 5:30pm covering the District Major Division TOC Semi-Final game and at Murphy Canyon Little League "Damato Field" on Thursday June 16th @ 7:30pm taping the District Major Division TOC Chamionship Game . If you would like to purchase a DVD, EYSports will be taking orders for $10 per game. For more information about Everest Youth Sports,
