On December 20, 2012, Little League International announced the full list of significant changes to the rules and regulations of the program. These changes are in effect as of January 1st, 2013.  The link below provided details the changes for each division of Little League Baseball and Softball as well as the actual verbiage to be placed into the soon to be releases 2013 Baseball Rule Book.  If changes are made or additional clarity is provided on how to enforce the rule before the start of the season the link provided will be the best method to use as you review the information.

I wanted to share my fundraiser I am putting on to benefit Morse High School Baseball & our winter & summer club teams. We are hosting a fishing tournament at Lake Poway on Saturday January 5th. I know it's something a little out of the ordinary but I thought it was would be a unique & fun event. I have some good friends & current MLB players as special guests that say including Tony Gwynn Jr & Brandon League from the Dodgers. Along with Will Venable & Morse Alum & Tiger outfielder Quintin Berry who also played in the World Series.  We will have autograph giveaways & everyone will get to meet & hang with the players. Murphy Canyon Little League has been selected by the San Diego Padres to re-furbish their Little Damato field. All the work is completed and MCLL's Little Padres Park is ready to go. But before the first pitch is thrown, The San Diego Padres and MCLL have planned a dedication ceremony.

Everyone in District 33 is invited to come out and join the San Diego Padres and Murphy Canyon Little League in the dedication of their "Little Padre Park".

Little Damato is not just Murphy Canyon Little League's field but the field we host many District events and we hope that we can have each of our leagues represented at the ceremony. MCLL would love to have players from D33 at their ceremony wearing their baseball uniforms.
