Vernon Hills Junior Cougars

First Team on Schedule is home team and should wear white. 7 minute quarters. 2 timeouts per half (no carryovers). No extra timeout for overtime. Overtime = 2 minutes. 2nd Overtime = Sudden Death 3 Minute Halftime No Full Court pressure with 15 point lead Running clock if 20 point lead in second half. Technical Fouls = 2 points and ball. 3-point shots are allowed IHSA rules. Games will start 5 minutes after the conclusion of the preceeding game. Even if this creates a starting time prior to the scheduled time. Concessions available. Day pass for spectators is $2 for adults, $1 for children. Children under 5 = free

PARKING: There is a visitor's parking lot in front of the school. If you cannot find a space, park in the student lot on the west (Oakton Street) side of the school. ENTRANCE: Use auditorium entrance and enter through main gym. ADMISSION: Adult $2 daily or $3 for weekend. Under 17 = $1 for weekend. Concessions available. RULES NFHS rules. 20 minute running clock, except for last 2 minutes of each half. No press at 15 point lead. Technicals are automatic 2 points. 2 full and 2 30 second timeouts per game. Overtime = 2 minutes regular clock. 3 point shots allowed Man to Man defense for 6th adn 7th grades. Zone allowed for 8th.
