Salesianum Wrestling

Just a reminder that the Individual State tournament is this weekend at Sussex Central High School.  The tournament starts on Friday at 4pm.  Tickets were sold this week and all wrestlers were given the opportunity to pre-purchase for their friends/family.  Tickets were sold in three sessions:  Friday $5, Saturday $5 and Finals (Sat night) $7.

The Salesinaum Wrestling team will be staying at the Comfort Inn in Georgetown which is approx. 6 miles from the school.  We will be leaving Salesianum early on Friday to get to Sussex Central in plenty of time for weigh-ins. 

DIRECTIONS TO SUSSEX CENTRAL:
Route 1 to 113 south through milford.you will go about 18 miles before you get into georgetown. continue through georgetown for another 5 miles.you will pass the prison on the left side. about 3 miles past the prison you will see a huge sign on the left for stockley center and sussex central high school. you will turn left there. go to the end at stop sign and make a left. sussex central high school will be on your left.

Practice will be held from 3pm to 5pm at Salesianum. Please be at the school by 2:30pm.

Sallies will be hosting a tri-meet this Saturday with Middletown and West Depford (NJ). Wrestling will begin at 10am with Middletown vs West Deptford. Sallies will then wrestle Middletown at noon following by Sallies wrestling West Deptford at 2pm.

The state dual meet tournament has been moved from Wednesday, February 14th to Tuesday, February 13th.  Location for this tournament is still at Delaware State University in Dover. 

The state individual tournament location has been moved from Delaware State University to Sussex Central High School.  For directions, you can go to the location page on this website and click on the icon next to Sussex Central.  The team has made reservations at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Georgetown.  If any parents would like to make reservations their number is 302-854-9400.  It is approximately 5 minutes from the school.  The dates for this tournament are Friday, February 23rd and Saturday, February 24th.
