Sallies will not wrestle at the Wilson Tournament

The Salesianum Varsity Wrestling team will not be wrestling at the Wilson Tournament (Easton) tomorrow.  The Salesianum staff was just informed that the tournament format was changed to a dual-meet format.  Due to DIAA rules in the number of events we are allowed to participate in we had to pull out of the tournament.

Wilson Tournament Directions (12/5 & 12/6)

Directions to Northhampton Community College:

  • I-95 North

  • Take Pennsylvania exit 7 towards Plymouth Meeting onto I-476 North – go 57.9 miles

  • Take exit 56 towards onto US-22 East toward Allentown – go approx. 14 miles

  • Take Rt. 191 exit. 

  • At end of reamp, turn right onto Rt 191 and then right onto Brodhead Rd (before stoplight)

  • At stop sign on Brodhead Rd, turn right onto Hecktown Rd.

  • Proceed pass the Hecktown Rd entrance and turn left onto Green Pond Raod.  The Green Pond Rd entrance will be on your right. 

  • Follow to the Gates Center on your left

Welcome to the 2008/2009 season!

We'd like to welcome everyone to the Sallies wrestling website and to the start of the 2008/2009 season.  This website will be used through-out the season for communication to parents, wrestlers and fans.  Please be sure to visit frequently. 

I'm in the process of adding the complete varsity schedule and jv/varsity practice schedule.  This should be completed in the next day or two.

State Individual Tournament Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

Saturday, February 23rd

  • Weigh-ins 9:30am
  • Preliminary Round 11:00am
  • Quarterfinals 2:15pm
  • 1st Round Consolations 2:15pm
  • 2nd Round Consolations 5:30pm

Sunday, February 24th

  • Weigh-ins 9;30am
  • Championship Semi-finals 11am
  • Consolation Quarterfinals 11am
  • Consolation Semi-finals 1pm
  • 5/6th place 4pm
  • 3/4th place 4:40pm
  • Parade of Champions 5:30pm
  • Championship Round 5:45pm

Directions for Saturday's Quad Dual

The location for Saturday's Quad Dual Meet has changed to Clearview High School in NJ.  The school's address is 625 Breakneck Rd, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062.  It is approximately 34 minutes from Salesianum.

 Directions:

I-95 N towards Chester, PA

Merge onto US-322 E via exit 4 toward Comm Barry Bridge/NJ (cross into NJ)

Turn left onto NJ-45 / N. Main St

Turn slight right onto Breakneck Rd
