Salesianum Wrestling

Salesianum has joined the Pins for Kids initiative started by former St. Mark's wrestler Zach Frederick in 2005.  Pins for Kids goal is to raise awareness and research money for various devastating childhood diseases.  One particular disease focused on is Tay-Sachs.  This disease has no known treatment/cure.  Please read more about this charity on the website:  http://www.pinsforkids.com/

Tickets  -- All Session pass $18 adult / $10 Senior/Student.  Tickets are also available per session if you are unable to make all the sessions.   

Directions to Council Rock South (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes):Address:  2002 Rock Way, Holland, PA 18966Take I-95 north to the Newtown/Yardley Exit #49. Make left at top of ramp onto Rt. 332 (Newtown By-pass). Follow Rt. 332 to the 9th traffic light (about 4 miles). Remain on Rt. 332 west by turning left onto Newtown/Richboro Rd. At the 2nd traffic light (about 1.5 miles), make a leftt on Rock Way to school on right. TEAMS should then make first right and continue to far end of school. FANS should proceed to the second entrance on right to upper parking lot in front of school. If upper lot is full, continue through and down to lower lot.

Salesianum will be staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Newtown (215-860-1700).

Salesianum varsity wrestlers will be competing in a dual meet tournament at Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill, PA on Saturday, January 2nd.  The approx travel time is 2 hours.  Detailed tournament & hotel information will be given to the wrestlers at practice on Tuesday, December 29th.

Wrestling begins at 9am.  There are eight teams competing.  Each team will wrestle four times.  Teams competing:  Manheim Central, Boyertown, Red Lion, Cedar Cliff, Great Valley, Parkland, Salesianum.
