On December 1st, the Mustangs headed off with the Knights of University Liggett School. The whole game was an intense matchup of the teams. The game was tied at 3-3 at the end of the third period, sending the game into overtime. The Mustangs pulled off a win by scoring with less than a minute left in the overtime period. Amy Cauzillo startedoff the Mustang scoring, followed by a goal from Jenny Forker. Stephanie Papich scored both the game tying and winning goals for the Mustangs. Great job and awesome playing! The Mustangs improved their record to 2-2. Keep up the good work!
Northville played Regina tonight in St. Clair Shores. Regina came out strong in the first period. The score ended up at 8-0. But the girls tried hard and will be ready to play Regina again. Northville's next game is at Liggett on Monday, December 1st. Great effort tonight girls!
On Friday November 21, Northville played a tough game, at home, against the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen. Although the girls lost 6-1, the Mustangs played tough throughout the whole game. Northville's only goal was scored by senior Katie Hietala. Good game and keep up the good work!
Northville played Ladywood November 19, 2003 for their first league game. Northville won in overtime with a score of 5-4. Goals for Northville were scored by Amy Cauzillo, Sam Pope, Caitlyn Crawford, the tying goal by Andrea Soloko, and the game winning goal by Meredith Ponder. Assists were by Rachel Reuter, Caitlyn Crawford, Amy Cauzillo, and Bridget Hughes. In goal for the night was senior, Danielle Bigi stopping over 30 shots. Great job girls and keep up the good work!
