Ottawa Blackout

Posted by Eric Rosenquist at Aug 17, 2003 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
The lights at A.Y. Jackson are not functioning as a result of the blackout and the "essential services only" edict from the city. We'll have to assume that they won't be available for the rest of this week, hence we'll only be able to play 6:30 games and those will be in danger of getting called due to darkness around 8PM. As a result, the top priority is to finish the regular season - that means having Restore-All and Murray's play on Tuesday August 19th at 6:30. Once we know for sure that the lights are working, we'll go back to scheduling 8:30 games. In the meantime, check here for schedule updates or call your team captain.

2003 Tournament Results

Posted by Eric Rosenquist at Jun 22, 2003 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
Congratulations to K-Deck who defeated Restore-All in the "A" final and State Farm who defeated WSI in the "B" final. Both "A" semi-finals went into extra innings. A big thanks to Norm Philips (2nd VP) who organized the event and collected door prizes for the banquet on Friday, as well as to all of those who donated prizes for the Friday night banquet. We collected many donations for the Kanata Food Cupboard and our 50-50 draw raised just over $188 for charity as well.
