1957 Bucks

The 1957 Bucks went 5-4 on the season under Head Coach John Murphy and Asst. Coach John Sbatella. This was the 1st year of the Inland Conference. Co-Captains were Hank Frombaugh, Ron Reinking and Bob Jenne. Named to the Akron Beacon Journal All Medina County 1st Team were Ron Reinking, Lou Stoskopf, and Hank Frambach.

Cleveland Brown's Hall of Famer Lou Groza spoke at the Awards Banquet. Most Valuable Linemen was Lou Stoskopf & Most Valuable Back was Bill Swingle. This was the first season of the Bucks playing at Buckeye on what is now Steingass Field. The Bucks fielded a Freshmen team for the first time under Coach Bill Kovalchic.

The 1956 Bucks went 4-4-1 on the season under Head Coach John Murphy and Asst. Coach Harold Schall. Co-Captains were Dave Stokopf Gary Bryenton. The Boosters Club had their first meeting on October 26, 1956. Elected Officers were, Paul Steingass, Pres., Harold Miller, V. Pres., Ruth Elder, Secretary, and James McNeely, Treasurer.

1996 Bucks

The 1996 Bucks went 4-6 on the season under Head Coach Rich Dodson. Assistant Coaches Bob Jenne, Mike Koshar, Mark Murphey, Chris Medaglia, and Jake Goebel. They scored 220 points while giving up 262.

QB Tim Devericks was 76 of 154 for 1,249 yards with 11 TD's and 8 INT's. Nick Andrukat was the leading receiver with 25 recptions for 495 yards, 4 TD's and 36 points. Jeremy Neuman led all rushers with 706 yards on 165 carries 9 TD's and 88 points scored. Jeremy Neuman led all tacklers with 95. Most Valuable Player was Jeremy Neuman and the Golden Buck Award Winner was Tim Devericks.

The 1998 Bucks went 4-6 on the season under Head Coach Jeff Ladner. Assistant Coaches Rich Dodson, Bob Jenne, Chris Medaglia, Jake Goebel, and Keith Curtin. They scored 127 points while giving up 262.

QB Brian Schnurr was 30 of 75 for 232 yards with 0 TD's and 4 INT's. Ed McDermott was the leading receiver with 4 recptions for 56 yards. Ryan Ries led all rushers with 693 yards on 163 carries scoring 3 TD's and 18 points scored. Chris Ross tossed in 615 yards on 169 carries with 8 TD's and 48 points scored. D. L. Koontz led all tacklers with 100. Brian Schnurr was the Golden Buck Award winner.

1963 Bucks

The 1963 Bucks went 8-1 on the season under Head Coach John Murphy. Co-Captains were Bob Miller and Jerry Schaefer. The Bucks were Inland Conference Champs.

After this season Coach Murphy left to become the Head Coach at Liberty-Benton. Bob Miller went on to attend the University of Cincinnati.
