1961 Bucks

The 1961 Bucks went 8-1 and repeated as Inland Conference Champs under Head Coach John Murphy and Assistant Bill Kovalchik. Co-Captains were Jim Thomas and Steve Morlock.

Medina County 1st team members were Steve Morlock, Jim Thomas, George Gunkleman, and Jim Dunkle. Thomas and Morlock were also All Inland Conference First Team. Jim Thomas was All-Ohio Second Team and attended Vanderbilt University.

1962 Bucks 

The 1962 Bucks went 7-3 on the season under Head Coach John Murphy and Assistant Bill Kovalchik. Their Captain was Boyd McCourt. Named All Medina County 1st Team was John Swingle, Jon Steingass, Boyd McCourt, and Ralph Schlarb.

The loss to Brookside broke a string of 16 straight Inland Conference victories. Ralph Schlarb scored 98 points to lead all of Medina County, with Boyd McCourt finishing 2nd with 72 points.

1964 Bucks

The 1964 Bucks went 0-7-1 on the season under Head Coach Roger Auker. Co-Captains were Jim Houghtaling and Charles Schnabel.

Mike Gorifido was named All Medina County 1st Team. This is the only Buckeye team to not post a win during a season. They scored only 53 points (6.6 Pts/Game) during the season while giving up 178 (22.3 Pts/Game).

1969 Bucks 

The 1969 Bucks went 7-2 on the season under Head Coach Mike Lewis. Co-Captains were Bill Nolan, Gary Gunkleman, Bob Rising, and Jeff Schaefer.

Most Valuable Player was Alan Kiene and Bob Rising led the team in tackles with 98 and made All-State 1st Team as a Linebacker. Bill Nolan was an All-State Honorable Mention as a Guard. 1st Team All Inland Conference players were Bob Rising, Bil Nolan, Alan Kiene, Gary Gunkleman, and Jerry Schaefer.

1st Team All Medina County went to Bob Rising, Alan Kiene, and Gary Gunkleman. The members of the 1st Team All Akron Beacon Journal were Bob Rising, Alan Kiene, and Bill Nolan. Bill Nolan and Bob Rising were also All District 1st Team. Cleveland Brown Dick Schafrath spoke at the Awards Banquet.

1970 Bucks 

The 1970 Bucks went 7-2 on the season under Head Coach Mike Lewis. Co-Captains were Dale Schaefer, Alan Kiene, George Wolff, and Ken Barth. Lutheran West replaces Brookside in the Inland Conference.

Alan Kiene was Most Valuable Player, Medina County Player of the Year, Inland Conference 1st Team, All Akron Beacon Journal 1st Team, All District 1st Team, and All-State Honorable Mention. Coach Mike Lewis was Medina County Coach of the Year.

Dale Schaefer was Inland Conference 1st Team, All Medina County 1st Team, and All District 1st Team. Other All Medina County 1st Teamers were George Houghtaling, Paul Mingus, and Joe Slimbarski. Slimbarski was also and All Akron Beacon Journal 1st Teamer.
