The 2008 Bucks again went 6-4 on the season under 2nd year Head Coach Billy Burke and captured their 3rd PAC Stars Division Championship in 4 seasons. Assistant Coaches Bob Jenne, Brian Bauman, Keith Curtin, Ryan Kearns, Troy Bonidie, and Luke McMillen. They scored 287 points while giving up 162.

They defeated Wisconsin-Whitewater 31-26 in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl this past Saturday in Salem, Virginia. The win was their 3 Championship in the last 4 seasons and 10th Championship overall. Wisconsin-Whitewater defeated the Purple Raiders in 2007 to be Division III Champs.

Chaz finished the game with 11 tackles from his Free Safety position. He had 2 interceptions on the season and returned 7 Kickoffs for 153 yards. Jordan's fellow Purple Raider Nate Kmic finished out his college career with 8,074 rushing yards, the most of any running back at any level in NCAA history.

From the GAZETTE, By Albert Grindle, Staff Writer

He did it again in ’08, scoring a school-record 164 points, with an amazing 134 coming in the final five games. The 5-foot-10, 165 pounder wrapped up his career with 364 points, trailing only early 1920s Medina superstar Erastus “Tunk” Simmons, whose total is incomplete but estimated to be over 400.

Reisner’s 59 touchdowns trail only Simmons - once again who sports an incomplete total - and his 3,613 rushing yards are behind only Wadsworth’s Dru Jones (5,249, 2005-07), Buckeye’s Ron Brant (4,373, 1977-79) and Medina/Cloverleaf ’s Ted Wright (3,640, 1990-93).

All of Reisner’s county exploits that would make this column ridiculously long can be mulled over in the handy graphic at the top of the page. Reisner wasn’t alone, however, on the area’s No. 1 offense. Thanks to great running by quarterback Mike Kelly and running backs Shawn Cordes and Ryan McCormick, the Bucks as a unit broke the school record for rushing yards in a game (494 vs. Columbia) and became just the second team in school history to average over three bills on the ground.
