2010 Bucks

The 2010 Bucks went 3-7 under Billy Burke in his 4th season as Head Coach. They went 3-4 in the PAC which is their worst PAC finish ever. Assistant Coaches were Brian Bauman, Keith Curtain, Kip Cullin, Troy Bonidie, Adam Peters and Jesse Horton. They scored 114 points and gave up 266.

QB Austin Friel was 104 of 218 for 1,280 yards, 7 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Carlton Watkins was the leading receiver with 60 catches for 907 yards and 4 touchdowns. His reception yardage placed him 2nd All Time behind Darren Cereshko. Chad Gatt contributed 179 yards on 16 catches with 2 TDs. 

Rick Monroe was the leading rusher with 77 carries for 339 yards and 2 touchdowns. Friel had 222 yards on 110 rushes and 6 touchdowns. Shawn Cordes added 627 yards on 100 carries and 7 touchdowns. Friel and Watkins were the leading scorers with 36 and 30 points respectively.

2010 Buckeye Football Awards

The Buckeye Football Awards were held on Wednesday, November 17th at Buckeye High School. The award winners are listed below.  

4 Year Letter Award Winner: Zach Maxworthy

Most Valuable Player: Carlton Watkins

Most Improved Player: Marc Persic

Iron Antler Award: Kyle Gatt

Golden Buck Award: Carlton Watkins

Most Valuable Player: Carlton Watkins

Patriot Athletic Confernce Awards

Most Valuable Receiver: Carlton Watkins who amassed 907 yards on 60 catches this season for the Bucks.

First Team: Carlton Watkins, Tyler Carrow, Zach Maxworthy, Chad Gatt and Kyle Gatt.

Second Team: T.J. Hugney, Austin Friel and Marc Persic.

Honorable Mention: Shane Nalepa

All Inland Division III

First Team Offense: Carlton Watkins

Special Mention: Zach Maxworthy

All Ohi0 Honors

Third Team: Carlton Watkins

2009 All GAZETTE Team

The 2009 All Gazette Football Team was published on December 4th and the Bucks were well represented on the team.

First Team Offense: Kelton Keller (OL) & Mike Kelly (QB)
