WEEK TWO.......OUR FIRST WIN?!?!?!?
Hello soccer family:
We start Week Two a little disappointed, but far from discouraged. We can either see the glass half empty or half full......I will choose the latter!!! Last year at this time, our record was 0-3-0.....and now we stand 0-2-1......a little improvement. At the same time, we have not played as well as we can. I am encouraged to know that improved play is on the way.
This week presents two very tough challenges. Tuesday night we host the Sidney Yellow Jackets. It is our alumni night as it will be the 500th game in Miamisburg soccer history. A strong showing will be needed.
On Thursday, we have a VARSITY ONLY match away at Troy. The GAME TIME has been changed to 6:00pm. The BUS will leave at 4:00pm. Again, a strong performance will be needed to get us a positive result.
I want to thank everyone for their fan support. It has been great to hear the cheers at our matches. We have a GREAT SOCCER FAMILY and the best is still ahead of us. If I told you at the start of the year that we would have a record of 12-2-2, all of us would have been pleased.......that is what we can still do. I believe WE CAN DO IT!!!!!!
For Soccer,
