LAST POSTING OF THE YEAR
Dear Players (and families):
I start this note with a congratulations to each of you. This season is a big step towards rebuilding our soccer tradition. Last year, we took a small step when the combined program finished with a record of 14-14-6. This year, we took a nice big step with a combined record of 17-10-7 and both teams were at least .500. I am so pleased with the hard work and strong effort that was presented throughout the season. Thank you for your contribution the past 9 months. It has added great value.
We have a couple important dates left before we say goodbye for the winter:
- concession duty this Friday night.....please help if you can
- booster meeting, Monday, 11/5.....important for every family
- uniform turn-in on Tuesday, 11/6 and Thursday, 11/8
- AWARDS BANQUET, Monday, 11/12....make sure the Wrights have your reservation
Visit the calendar for times and locations.
I want to thank each family for their commitment to the program this year. We have accomplished a lot together. Your time and energy has made us better and I want you to know how much I appreciate all of the time you have given to Miamisburg Soccer.
Lastly, I ask that you take some time off before getting back into competition. I AM STRONGLY RECOMMENDING THAT YOU DO NOT PLAY THE FIRST SESSION OF INDOOR SOCCER. Your body can use the rest. Use wisdom in preparing for your spring season. Take some time away from the game to rejuvenate your mind and body.
For Soccer,
Coach Ric
