THE OFF-SEASON STARTS FEBRUARY 11th

Posted by Jeffrey Thompson at Feb 10, 2008 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )

Dear Soccer Players (and families):

Today is the beginning of the 2008 season and each of you have the same opportunity to reach your potential.  Our goal as a coaching staff is simple......WE  WANT  YOU  TO  BECOME  THE  BEST  PLAYER  YOU  CAN  BECOME !!!

As we shared with most of you, strength and conditioning starts tonight from 7:30-9:00pm and will be available Monday-Saturday.  You decide how much you attend on what you need to accomplish.  Each session is optional, but remember you will ONLY reap what you sow AND the sowing starts NOW !!!

For Soccer,

Coach Ric

 Hello Team and Soccer Family,

I want to thank those of you who participated in the recent feedback sessions with coaching staff.  We met with over 90% of those players who are returning in the fall.  I was very pleased with the conversation and commitment discussed with each player.

Our training sessions at the school have been delayed for one week as I have not been able to complete all the individual player booklets.   We will start next Monday, 2/11at 7:30-9:00pm. I hope that each of you are as "EXCITED" as the coaching staff.....we can hardly wait to help all of us get better.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me via email or cellphone.

For Soccer,

Coach Ric

UD CONCESSIONS

Posted by Terry Stump at Jan 27, 2008 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )

UD Concessions is one of the biggest money makers for the team every year and we are judged on how we perform for the dates we work each year. This year we were offered 8 dates because of how well we have done the past few years. Right now, we are only planning on working 5 or 6 events, BUT doing them very well.

IT IS OUR GOAL FOR ALL FAMILIES TO ASSIST IN THIS FUNDRAISER.

We need all the boys (that look 15 or older) and parents to sign-up for the following dates. To sign up for a shift contact Denny Van Arsdale at dvanarsdale@mondaycbcf.com .

Please read below for important details about dress code and arena access.

Sunday, March 22:

NCAA Tournament (Arrival time TBD)
1: Alex Cardenas
2: Matthew Cardenas
3: Jerry Mullen
4: Sondi Bussard
5: Alex Bussard

Some bits of information you need to know:
1. Enter the parking lot through Gate D (farthest gate from I-75, closest gate to Stewart St). Go all the way to the back of the lot. This is where volunteers are asked to park.
2. You will enter the Arena through the blue double doors on the Northwest corner of the Arena marked "Employee Entrance. Please be sure to have a photo ID with you. Security will be checking ID's when you enter the building.
3. Once you have been cleared through security at the Employee Entrance, you will proceed in and report in to the check-in room just inside. Here you must leave your coats and you will be directed to our assigned stand. Nothing can be stored in the concession stand area, so bring as little with you as possible.
4. Wear comfortable, rubber soled, closed toe shoes. Tennis shoes are fine, sandals are not allowed. Jeans and shorts are not allowed either. Mens shirts should have collars. Team/ Company logo clothing is not permitted unless it is UD's logo. So Miamisburg apparel is not allowed. Hair nets or paper hats will be provided, however you are allowed to wear a baseball hat if it is a UD hat. Our group has several UD hats that will be brought to be used by someone who is working the event.
5. Aprons and all paperwork will be in the concession stand.
6. Concession Stands typically are to open for business around 90 minutes prior to game time. It is highly recommended to arrive at UD 45 minutes to an hour before stand opening to allow plenty of prep time.

If anyone has any questions at all, please feel free to call me either at home (866-7196) or at work (496-7300 x279) or email me at
dvanarsdale@mondaycbcf.com . We cannot afford to have any "no-shows". Thank you all for your help. I hope it is an enjoyable evening and that we are able to raise a nice amount of money for our coaches to utilize for the benefit of the boys soccer program.
