Azzurri F.C.
For the full story, visit our official website.
We are Shanghai’s Azzurri Football Club and have been playing in the SIFL since 1996, always having a blast doing so.
The 2009/10 season saw our best performance ever as SIFL League Champions. Winning 3 of a possible 5 trophies, we also won both the Opening and Closing Tournaments. Our reign at the top continued into the 2010/11 season as we repeated to win the League and Open Tournament. In 2011/12 we won the Opening Tournament and placed second in the league. In 2013 we won the Shanghai 7's, in 2015 the Lion's Cup and in 2016 the Closing Tournament. As if that isn't enough, every year, we travel all the way to Phuket, Thailand to play in the Andaman Soccer 7's International Tournament, a feat we won 2 years in a row. Needless to say, this year's objective can only be 1st place!
While we were originally an “Italian” team, our current squad has talented players from countries all over the world: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, France, Ghana, Hong Kong, Mexico, Senegal, Spain, Sweden, UK and USA… just to name a few! But, we do all have something in common; our love for all the fine things in life such as excellent food & wine, fancy football skills, and beautiful women.
We play in the SIFL thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, who deserves our warmest thanks.

Shanghai International Football League (SIFL) - Founded in 1995
Welcome to the homepage of the Shanghai International Football League, Shanghai's premier football league. This amateur league was formed in 1995. Many players from many different countries have played in this league, and we like to think that it has already became one of the most competitive Expat Amateur leagues in Asia. Testament to that is when teams such as Shooters and Japan regularly win overseas/international tournaments.
Although this website has been constructed in the helping of the organisation of the league, we also hope that you enjoy our site, and that some of the information is of good use to you.
If you are looking for a team to play with, then click on the teams tag, and choose which team you think you will be most suited to. Alternatively, you can leave your contact details on the message board.
Media coverage
The League's results, fixtures and game reports are published weekly by Urbanatomy Media under that's Shanghai online magazine.
