2011-12 Changes to STATS Reporting
The method used for reporting STATS on this website has changed. Starting with the 2011-12 season the detailed individual player stats recorded by the coaches when they review the game tapes will be used. This includes rebounds, steals, blocked shots, assists and charges taken. There will be a delay in reporting these detailed stats on this site based on when the stats are made available . Team and individual scoring stats recorded by my statistician will usually be available the same night as the game.
Fans are no longer required to become a site member to view the player stats.
Helpful Guide to Viewing the STATS
INDIVIDUAL GAME STATS: click on SCHEDULES AND SCORES here or in the Menu and select the game you are interested in, then click on “stats”. Use the tabs across the top to toggle between offensive and defensive stats.
CUMULATIVE STATS for all games: click on PLAYER STATS here or on the menu.
For the most recent games, go to the bottom of the home page and click on the game under EVENT under the "RECENT GAMES" heading below, then click on "stats".
FF WELCOME prior to November 2011
Once a game is no longer the most current one, the game write-up is reduced to its headline only. To read a hidden article, move the cursor over the headline and left click once. Photos are often imbedded in an article sometime after the article first appears (usually within 24 hours).
At the end of the season, current season articles are moved to the ARCHIVES Section on this website. All game photos are moved to the permanent Picasa ALBUMS Web Page at ALBUMS after the end of the season.
Comment on Game Stats: Please note there are thresholds used to determine if a player's accomplishments get mentioned here (for points, steals, rebounds, assists, blocked shots, and charges taken). Only players meeting or exceeding at least one of the thresholds gets mentioned.
The single game thresholds are: obvious acts of integrity by a player; scoring any points; more than 4 rebounds; 4 or more assists; 3 or more steals; 3 or more blocked shots ; more than 5 turnovers.
For example, a player not scoring but having 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocked shots will not appear in the listing. A player who scores or a player having 3 blocked shots regardless of any other stats would appear. Occasionally a slight deviation from these guidelines might occur.
