Clear Lake Boys Basketball Booster Club Meeting 12/12/11

President Benjetta West started meeting at 6:30pm.  Thanked everyone for attending and said all the teams were doing well.

1.       Treasurer's Report – Judy Arrington gave report.  Ending balance 11/30/11 $8325.00.  We are doing well with concessions. After 2 home games (all teams) we made approximately $900.00

2.       Concession – Benjetta West gave report.  Almost all volunteer slots have been filled.  If you cannot make your shift, please find someone to replace you and contact her or Elridge Guilory.  We need extra help after the JV games; it is very busy, so if you are available, please help.  Don Wilkerson said Creek make everyone work 3 shifts or pay $60.00

3.       Themes for big home games – Benjetta would like to have everyone wear the same color shirts for different games.  She will come up with a schedule.

4.       T-Shirts - We will be selling themed shirts for the Brook game.

5.       Tumblers - Forms will be going home with players this week to sale Tumblers.  All monies are due January 4, 2012.

6.       Half-time entertainment – We need a volunteer to schedule different half time events for games that have low attendance. Example: Alvin, Dickinson, etc.

7.       Information for Varsity Tournament Dec 27-29 – The players will stay at the Radisson Town Lake, room rate is $90.00.  Players will be coming home on Dec 29, even if they play in the 5:30 pm Championship games. Coach Frye said the players will be having practice on Dec 30 early, so everyone should return with the team.

Other items:

1.       Membership – Kate Skol – We are still accepting Sponsors. You can upgrade your membership with Sponsor for the difference.  (No signs will be made)

2.       Patti Goin asked if they always charge for the freshman game. Coach Frye said yes, but last week they did not have a volunteer.

3.       Don Wilkerson – Said the wallet size schedule cards are too hard to read.

4.       Don Wilkerson – Stated we need to purchase Banners for previous “Winning” seasons to hang in the Field House – Benjetta said she would talk to Coach Penders.
