Varsity Season Final Record: 28-6, District Record 13-1
A huge congratulations also to our JV team for winning the district and finishing the season 31-2! It was 1989 when our JV last had a record this good. Their record was 32-0 and the next year as varsity they made it to the state tournament after the varsity won it all in 1989.
In three seasons Coach Tommy Penders has taken the Falcons to a district co-championship and to a ranking of #10 in the state in 5A (final TABC 2011-12 ranking for Clear Lake was #14). With a fine young crop of talent coming up, expect the Falcons to continue to be highly successful.
