Clear Lake 73 - FB Marshall 61
When a team plays team basketball with the proficiency and efficiency that Clear Lake's varsity displayed in the contest with Fort Bend Marshall, it is fun and exciting to watch. It is difficult not to be impressed by the teamwork, their skill and, at times, athleticism.
Clear Lake might well be one of the most underrated teams in the region but expect that to change quickly over the next month if the boys continue to display the level of aggressive defense and offense this team will probably be remembered for.
Drake Green led all scorers with 22 points and Bradley George contributed 17 mostly off his signature floaters in the paint. 62% free throw shooting (18 of 29) seemed to be enough to prove me wrong on that subject.

Freshman B Team Dominates Willowridge 68-20
Freshman B Team beats Willowridge High School 68-20
Article by Chris Hickey
The Falcon B team continues to gain confidence as they won their third road game in
a row in decisive fashion. Lake jumped out to a 17 – 0 lead against the
Willowridge Eagles and didn’t look back as they coasted to a 68-20 victory. It was an outstanding all around effort as
the Falcons smothering defense produced 32 steals and limited the Eagles to 4
points in the first half. On offense,
Lake employed excellent ball movement to get open shots that allowed them to
convert 24 of their 35 two point field goal attempts. The Freshmen scored 31 points in the third
quarter on their way to a very impressive victory
Lake
was led by Max Hickey with 12 points and Matthew Tamburello with 11. Eleven Falcons scored in this very balanced
effort. The team is next in action Tuesday at 10AM against Fort Bend
Marshall.
