2014 Austin Westlake Tournament Bracket and Hotel Information
Monday game times are 11am and 2:30pm for pool play.

For the Parent’s Rooms, I (Debbie Heckler) have included a web link for you to pass on - https://resweb.passkey.com/go/WLHCParents This web link will allow the attendees to book their hotel room online from any web or mobile device - 24/7. The cutoff date for taking these reservations is also Monday December 1, 2014!
Both the Team and Parent’s Rate includes Breakfast each morning. This will again be served on the 2nd floor – and include both hot and cold items, fruits, juices, coffee, etc”. - Debbie Heckler

2014 Tournament Results
Clear Lake's varsity played in the following three tournaments in December 2014:
1. Carlisle-Krueger Classic (CCISD)
Dec 4-6, 2014, Krueger Field House
Clear Lake defeated Pasadena (72-47), and Clear Falls (55-46) before losing to eventual tournament champions Elkins (60-55) in the semifinals on the winner's side of the bracket (This was Lake's only loss in 2014 before entering district play in January 2015). Clear Lake defeated Houston Sterling (69-61) to claim third in the tournament. Bracket can be found below.
2. Corpus Christi Tournament (Dec 11-13)
Held at Gregory Portland High School, 4601 Wildcat, Portland, Texas 78374.
Tournament name is HEB Wildcat Classic Boys Basketball Tournament.
Clear Lake had victories over Gregory Portland (71-23), San Antonio Lanier (66-51), Cedar Park (48-37), and highly ranked San Antonio Brennan (45-39) to win the championship in this tournament.
3. Austin Westlake Classic (Dec 29-30)
In pool play despite scoring only one field goal in the first half, Clear Lake defeated Arlington Seguin 54-46 in the opening round of pool play. Next a win over Buda Hays 58-56. Then a victory over ranked Schertz Clemens 80-76, and Austin Westlake 54-44 to claim the championship in this tournament. Coach Penders did not attend this tournament due to a death in the family (his aunt). The team was coached by Marc Gernander and Matt Frye.

Coach Hand started at Clear Lake in 2014-15.
He coaches football and basketball.
