* Norco Parade In San Bernandino County, California (245 Miles Each Way) Weather: 92F/57F
Ok, here is THE fun event of the season, those of us that have been in this parade before have been waiting all year to do it one more time. The Norco Parade on Sept 5, 2005. A craizer parade you've never seen.
WE were in this parade last year and for an hour and a half, I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face. Two rules in the parade, you cannot dirve in a straight line and you can't put your PT in reverse. You can, with caution, do figure 8's, donuts, drive in the oppisite direction of the parade, mix with other groups, this is nuts. Bring hard candy to toss to the kids along the parade route. Remember to dodge the road apples!!!!!!
Also, you need to watch for kids running out to retrieve candy, they sometimes do that and hood ornaments looking like children are frowned on.
We will be meeting at the 76 station on Hidden Valley Parkway and the 15 freeway from 7:15-7:45, arrive at the parade route in Norco at 8:00 A.M.
