The History of the Meadville Bulldog Invitational The Meadville Bulldog Invitational is held each year in Mid-January at the Meadville Recreation Center. The tournament features top teams from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York in an eight team Round Robin for the three day event. The Event celebrated its 7th tournament in 2003 and is one of the top tournaments in the State of Pennsylvania. The Central Catholic Viking Invitational is played annually at the Blade Runners Harmarville and features the Top Interschoalstic Hockey Programs in Pennsylvania and has hosted schools from New York, Ohio, Indiana, Maryland and Canada. The 16 team format was designed to bring together the best teams under one format in an event which started in 1989 and is play each November.
