Denver University will play Maine Saturday night in Boston for the Finals of the NCAA Frozen 4 for the National Championship. Western Pennsylvania has been represented well in the NCAA's the opast few years as Cliff Loya of Mt Lebanon and Jim Abbott of North Catholic participated in the NCAA Division 1 Championship over the past few years. Denver's Mike Handza from Shaler plays for Denver University and whould the Pioneers win will join Alderdice's Dee Rizzo as the 2nd Western Pennsylvania player to win a National Championship at the Division 1 level. Class AAA > Malvern Prep goes for their 1st since 1990 in their 4th straight State Final > Mt Lebanon can win their 2nd and first since 1976 Class AA > Archbishop Carroll will try for their 2nd since 1980 and has been to the finals 4 of the past five years > Will Peters Twp make it a three-peat Class A > Can Radnor repeat its 2003 State A Title > Will Serra win their 4th Class A State Championship in 5 years
