Bethel Park Blackhawks - 1997-2000 -2001-2002-2005 AAA

The Allegheny [West] Midget Team captured the Gold Medal at the 2005 Keystone State Games in York, Pa. The team was lead by North Allegheny's Alan Halapin with 5 goals in the tournament. Canon McMillan's Kyle Harnen and Franklin Regional's Brian Dunford each picked up a pair of goals, while Central Catholic's Josh Martin and Penn Trafford's Joe Meehan tallied 4 assists in three games. Thomas Jefferson's Cody Krynock was stellar only yielding 1 goal in two tournament games. Congratulations to Gateway's Lou Biancanello and the Allegheny Midget squad !

Greater Pittsburgh Dekhockey Center in Penn Hills will host a Scholastic Street Hockey Tournament Oct. 1-2. Competition will be held in two divisions: High School (grades 9-12) and Junior High (grades 7-9). Teams must be composed ONLY of players from the same school district. Each player MUST have a valid school ID. Each team MUST have an adult coach. More than one team per school is allowed. Ice hockey players/teams are welcome. Cost is $275 per team.
