West Monroe 31 Ruston 8
West Monroe totally dominated Ruston in a game where Ruston
wanted worse than a state title. D.J. Banks connected with
Taylor Underwood for 2 td's and ran for over 100 yards
to lead the Rebels to a big win.
Eric Talton exploded for over 100 yards to help the Rebels
continue the streak over Ruston.
What can you say about the DeFense! They were all in Rome's
face all night. The only score Ruston had was on a safety and a
td pass from Rome to Davidson. Way to go Rebs!
West Monroe 20 Ouachita 19
Wow! Can I say what a game! West Monroe was down
19-0 at the half and came from behind to win a great
game. Ouachita's kicker Matt Little missed a 31 yard
field goal with 8.3 seconds left to seal the win for
the Rebels.
I had LaDarius with 180 yards
D.J. Banks had over 100 yards passing tonight and showed alot of
charcter with his injury.
Tyler Cain had 3 TD's on the night!
I just want to say that we should appreciate our coaching staff
for whatever they done at halftime.
The DeFense completely shut down Ouachita the 2nd half.
This game reminded me of the old 2-5A and I hope this means that
all of the teams in our district has gained some ground.

The Rebels held Byrd on the initial drive the 2nd half and
then when the Rebels had their chance, they took advantage.

This reminded me of the old 2-5A District. We were always in

I love this type of game, it prepares you for a war and
during the regular season the last 2 years, we have not had this
type of test.
