Any player wishing to order their own home jersey must contact captain Costa ASAP. The jerseys will have your name on the back with your choice of number providing it is not only already taken. First come, first served. Money will be collected by the May 18th practice. Another meeting will be up and coming. It will be posted.

Hello Football Players: The Minutemen will be hosting their 2002 sign-ups on Tuesday, April 23rd. It will be hosted at the Italian Working Men's Club which is located at 947 Diamond Hill Rd. in Woonsocket, RI 02895. We will begin at 6:30pm. ALL interested parties must attend. All veterans and new recruits. We will be discussing the 2002 season and changes involved with the team. Coaches will be present to offer their plan for the new year and captains will have a chance to discuss their roles. Sign-ups will take place at the beginning of the meeting and informative meeting will follow. ALL PARTIES MUST BRING A PHOTO ID AND $10.00 FOR VETERANS AND $20 FOR NEW RECRUITS. YOU WILL BE SIGNING A CONTRACT WITH THIS TEAM, AN INDEMNITY/WAIVER FORM, A CODE OF ETHICS FORM, AND A UNIFORM CONTRACT. This is the first process of being a member of the NEFL Minutemen. You will also have to participate in: 1. pre-season trainings 2. spring camps 3. any exhibition games 4. captain's practices 5. any community involvement activities 6. payment of player dues of $100.00. This is NOT Negotionable. (you will not receive a team uniform if dues is not paid by the first exhibition game. July 13th) This money is NOT refundable!!! NO PAY=NO PLAY You MUST respond if you will be attending the meeting. If you are unable to attend, you must make arrangements prior to attending team events. Hello Football Brothers: This message is being sent to all members of the Minutemen and interested parties. I apologize for not having contacting all of you prior to this notice. As many of you are aware, there will be some new changes for the 2002 season. All are for the best. Negotiations with the the new city have begun. There has been a delay due to vacations and staff changes but we are starting to roll. I know many people are getting anxious and understandably why but please be patient because like fine wine, great things take time. Although many of the changes will not be made public until all are finalized, there are a lot of great things happening. There will be a team training on March 23rd for all VETERAN players. The reason for this is due to changes within the league and contractual agreements. Once all info. is complete, WE WILL have a mandatory team meeting and new player recruitment night. Again, please be patient. The training will be hosted by WHR Fitness with Coach Nelson and Capt. Costa organizing the event. We will meet at Dionne track and will train outdoors weather permitting. Indoors if the weather is inclement. There will be more trainings in the near future for all interested parties. You must be under a Minutemen contract in order to attend. We are not trying to turn people away but there are reasons for this. Mostly insurance reasons. Please check the team website for other info. There will be a team meeting as soon as the final 2002 planning is complete. We were hoping to meet earlier but there have been some unforseen setbacks. ONLY MINOR ONES!!!the NEFL Please be advised...All members and future players are required to attend. There will a lot of info. given at that time. All remaining jerseys and equipment will be due. All property of the MINUTEMEN must be returned. There will no NEW uniforms ordered until all are returned. If all uniforms are NOT returned we will have to impose an additional player fee to compensate for the loss. Check with your friends to be sure that they return all belongings.
