Two Tough Defenses, Hawks win 3-0

Posted by Ruben Costa at Jul 16, 2005 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
The Seacoast Hawks flew into town but were soon grounded by the outstanding play of the Sentinel Defense. The Hawks have been a power house but met their match yesterday. Despite the successful 32 yard field goal made by Hawk Captain Matt Lapolice, the Hawks could not capitalize on the the series of mistakes made by the Sentinel Offense. Neither team entered the end zone do to the great play of the hard core action of both defenses. The Sentinel Offense will have their work to do but a lot of positive events occured. Coach Kelley did a great job with his game plan and the Coach Lynch did a fine job calling in both offenseive and defensive strategies. The Sentinels also showed off their first class operation off the field. The Sentinel Cheerleaders showed off their great talent under direction of Coach Lynn Palin. The game day operations were coordinated by Team Manager, Dawn Dumas and team Intern, Shannon Brady. The music kept the crowd alive with DJ Wazzy while guest announcer, Rich Walker, kept the fans informed of the on field action and offered some amusing insight on the game play. The Concessions were kept running smoothly by Donna Lemieux and Family. Mrs. Lemieux is the mother of the Aaron Lemieux who died in an automobile accident in 2003. The Sentinels hosted a fundraiser last year for her family with additional money being presented to MADD in Aaron's memory. The Sentinels will play their next game againt the Mass State Warriors this Saturday at Barry Field, 5pm. The Sents will then be on the road for the next game againt the South Shore Outlaws.
