2003 World Series Highlights

Posted by Mark Dietz at Nov 10, 2003 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
Just a few of Coach's observation and highlights at this year's WS: * Stiggy should get heart pains more often: hitting .607, 2 HR, WOW! * Shannon can do all the chattering he wants after 3 Complete Game Wins - 2 in ONE DAY !! * Mickey's BACK! Even talking about new pants for '04 * 2000 MVP Frank Arnold can still "represent" (.615 OBA, 9 RBI) * Dougy hits the quietest .410 you'll never hear about (and only 1 error in a full 81 innings at 3rd base) * My brother "Scrote" is crazier than I thought - flying down twice at 3 AM to be there if the Cobalts needed (atta boy JD) * Thank you Lord for prayers answered for our boy Spriggsy * It's just too damn weird taking the field without Capt. Bo (much better timing needed on the conception next time #10) * We need more "10 RBI Guys" like Hatfield and Hiler * Willy is still funny just before his body shuts down * "Situational Hitter" Burgy can be on my roster anytime * I've got to get more sleep on these trips if I'm going to still be around doing this for Timmy Lit'l Balt's boy in 18 years * Thanks to Mrs. Coach who allows all this nonsense to continue - 15 crazy years of Cobalting !!! imageimage
