Posted by Mark Dietz at May 25, 2009 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Two quick 10-run rule victories for the Cobalts in their season opening double-header with the Cincinnati Royals.

Hits were many. Pitching stellar. Sunshine so excited he broke the new SEXTING laws and sent his stats with pictures....shewww!

Also, the New Dudes that Coach Taylor recruited sound so exciting!

Coach Retires But Cobalts Continue

Posted by Mark Dietz at Mar 31, 2009 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

As advertised, Mark "Coach" Dietz has officially retired as active manager of the Cincinnati Cobalts Semi Pro Baseball Club. I will now start over and establish the 4-Year Old "Semi Pro" Tee-Ball Cobalts (Lord help me).

But the Big 'Balts are in the capable hands of Player Coach Tom Taylor and will go into Year #23 with all guns blazing toward another NABF World Series title run.

The Cobalts are in the midst of setting their schedule within the competitive CRC Thursday/Sunday League.

Look for some new faces to be sprinkled in with the old cast of characters on this year's squad.

I would like to thank the thousands (yes, thousands) of Cobalt Players who donned our uniform and took the field for me over the span of 3 decades. It has been an honor and a lot of fun (mostly) to go to battle with all of you.

I'll be watching. And don't ever forget: Once a 'Balt, Always a 'Balt!!!

cheers,

Coach (out)
