The Halifax Pelham Molson Canadians, behind a complete game from  veteran righthander, Mark Haverstock, defeated the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry on Saturday 7-2.  With the win, the Canadians clinch first place and claim home-field advantage for the upcoming playoffs.  Slugger, Shawn Peverill blasted a triple while Steve Murphy and Jake Pelham each knocked in a pair for Halifax.  Chris Head, with a homer, and Greg West, with two singles, led the way for the Dry.

The Sunday night game between Dartmouth and Kentville was postponed due to rain. Kentville will host Halifax on Monday night and Dartmouth will head to Truro, both games start at 7:30pm.
