Codey Shrider fired 7 strong innings leading the Kentville Wildcats to victory in game 1 of the NSSBL semi-final series over the Halifax Pelham Molson Canadians.  Colby Turple knocked in three runs with three singles while Rob Shepherd and Kevin Matheson singled twice and knocked in a runner each.  Josh Pelham singled twice and Pat Gilbert doubled to lead Halifax.  Game 2 of the series will be played Tuesday evening in Kentville at 7:30.

The other NSSBL semi final is tied at one game a piece after the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry scored 7 runs to break a 3-3 tie in the 8th inning of game two to win 10-3. Game one was a pitching duel between Paul Doucette and Jason Bailey with Sydney scoring a run in the ninth for the victory. The series will continue next Saturday in Sydney.
