Pellerine, Chisholm lead Bearcats to Victory

Guy Pellerine and Mark Haverstock locked up in an old fashioned pitchers' duel through five innings before Truro, led by veteran outfielder, Jeff Chisholm, broke away for a 5-1 win over Halifax at the Mainland Common. Chisholm homered and singled twice while John Chapman and Darson Murphy both singled and doubled to pace the Bearcats 11 hit attack. Brandon Devlin and Shawn Walsh had two hits each for the Canadians while Aaron Ferguson singled home their only run. These two teams meet in a rematch on Canada Day with first pitch scheduled for 1:00 at the Mainland Common.
