Righthander, Mark Haverstock held the Truro Bearcats in check as the Halifax Pelham Molson Canadians defeated the Truro Bearcats 6-3 in a well-played game at the Mainland Common. The middle of the order did the damage for Halifax as Shawn Peverill knocked in three runs with a triple and single, Jake Pelham tripled, singled, knocking in a pair while Josh Pelham doubled, singled and also knocked in two runners. Southpaw Brandon MacKinnon earned the save with two innings of work fanning five. Darson Murphy led the Bearcats offence with three singles and an RBI, while Guy Pellerine and Tony Stewart each singled in a run.
