Bearcats rally for victory, Dry down Wildcats

The Truro Bearcats scored four runs in the ninth inning to beat host Sackville Beaverbank Physio Chiefs this afternoon. Mets, Canadians in marathon

Interleague play kicked off today, with the Halifax Pelham Canadians making the trip to Moncton to face the Mets. Moncton scored four runs in the eighth inning en route to a 7-2 win in Game 1. Halifax was awarded a 3-2 forfeit victory in Game 2 when Moncton ran out of players after the 15th inning and couldn't finish the game. Canadians, Wildcats victorious

The Halifax Pelham Canadians won for the second time in as many nights tonight, beating host Sackville Beaverbank Physio Chiefs. At Weir Field Halifax 242 020 000 — 10 9 2 Sackville 000 200 000 — 2 7 1 Andrew MacIntosh (WP) and Kevin Andrecyk; Aaron Reid (LP), Jamie Joyce (2), Scott Higgins (5), Todd Pickrem (7), Joey Gaudet (9) and Jed Martin, Jordan Francis (7). Halifax — Adam Lucas, two singles, four RBI; Kevin Andrecyk, three singles; Sackville — Mike Hurley, two singles, RBI. At Truro, the Kentville Wildcats downed the host Bearcats 12-8.
