Host Halifax Pelham Canadians grabbed a 1-0 lead in their semifinal series with the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry tonight.

Game 2 of the Truro-Kentville series was postponed because some of the lights weren't working at Memorial Park in Kentville. It has been rescheduled to Sunday, Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. in Kentville. Game 3 was to have been played Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in Truro, but has been postponed. A makeup date will be confirmed Sunday.

Host Truro Bearcats posted the first victory of the playoffs, doubling the Kentville Wildcats 4-2 tonight.
