Horsman makes debut

Former major-league pitcher Vince Horsman threw three innings in his debut for the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry tonight, allowing one hit while striking out five in his team's 9-1 victory over visiting Truro Bearcats. Canadians-Wildcats postponed

Tonight's game between the Halifax Pelham Canadians and Kentville Wildcats at the Mainland North Common in Halifax has been postponed. Halifax Regional Municipality has closed all its fields until Friday because of recent wet weather in the area. When a make-up date has been confirmed, it will be posted on this site.
