Stats, records updated

The weekly stats are in from league statistician Burton Russell, and can be found by clicking on the "2005 Stats Updates" link on the left-hand side of the page. Also, a list of year-by-year leaders in major statistical categories in the NSSBL has been added to the "Records" section of the website. Thanks to Marc Patterson of the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry for providing the information.

Halifax takes two from Sydney

Host Halifax Pelham Canadians captured both ends of an afternoon twinbill with the Sydney Sooners today. The second game of Saturday's doubleheader was fogged out, and both teams agreed to play two seven-inning games today because Sydney was travelling home tonight. Canadians win fog-filled game

Host Halifax Pelham Canadians scored a victory in a fog-shortened game against the Sydney Sooners today. The second half of the scheduled doubleheader was postponed. Canada Games, Dartmouth rained out

Tonight's game between the Nova Scotia Canada Games team and host Dartmouth Moosehead Dry at Beazley Field has been postponed because of rain. When a make-up date has been confirmed, it will be posted on this site.
