All-star team for nationals announced

The Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League has formed an all-star team that will attempt to defend the Canadian senior baseball championship Aug. 25-28 in Kamloops, B.C. The 2004 Canadian champion Dartmouth Moosehead Dry will place nine players on the roster. The Sydney Sooners and Halifax Pelham Canadians are supplying three players apiece. The Kentville Wildcats were able to supply two players, and the Truro Bearcats and Nova Scotia Canada Games team one apiece. The roster of players is as follows: From Dartmouth - 1B/DH Darren Doucette, INF Robert Gillis, INF Chris Goodie, P/OF Jason Bailey, P Trevor Zwaan, P/OF Darren Hiltz, P/INF/OF Jamie Vallis, OF Donald MacLean, C Chris Burns.
