Dry off and running at nationals

Jason Bailey pitched a complete-game five-hitter, and the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry scored all their runs with two out in the fourth inning en route to a 4-0 victory over Quebec this afternoon at the Canadian senior baseball championship in Brandon, Man.
Dartmouth's late game last night against the Brandon Marlins was rained out, and rescheduled to 11 a.m. Atlantic time on Friday.

Wildcats wrap up with win

The Kentville Wildcats scored 11 times in the fourth inning en route to a 15-3 victory over host Halifax Pelham Canadians tonight.
Kentville finishes with a 23-11 record, and will wind up first unless Dartmouth wins all three of its remaining games. Halifax falls a half-game behind Truro in the battle for the fourth and final playoff berth.
The league is on hiatus while Dartmouth is at the Canadian senior championship Thursday through Sunday in Brandon, Man., and will resume play on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
