Before the game, Truro launched a protest on the belief Dartmouth used an ineligible player. The Bearcats have 48 hours to file a written appeal to the league. If the appeal is filed, a decision will be rendered before Game 2 on Tuesday. The Truro Bearcats defeated the Halifax Pelham Canadians 8-4 tonight in a tiebreaker game for the fourth and final playoff spot.
