Dry complete four-peat

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry rallied from an 8-5 deficit in the eighth inning to defeat the Kentville Wildcats 11-8 tonight and claim their 13th Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League championship since 1990. Dartmouth won the best-of-seven final in four straight games. Dry player-coach Darren Doucette was named playoff MVP. Dartmouth one win from title

A five-run seventh inning propelled the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry to a 7-3 victory over the Kentville Wildcats in Game 3 of the best-of-seven league championship series tonight. Dartmouth has won all three games, and can close it out Wednesday night in Kentville. Winning pitcher Steve Nelson tossed a complete-game six-hitter and struck out 10 as the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry beat host Kentville Wildcats 8-3 tonight to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven final. Game 2 rained out

Tonight's Game 2 of the league championship series between the Kentville Wildcats and Dartmouth Moosehead Dry has been postponed because of rain. The game has been rescheduled to Monday, Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Park in Kentville.
