Sooners win pair vs. N.S. Canada Games

The Sydney Sooners took both ends of a doubleheader from the Nova Scotia Canada Games team in exhibition play this afternoon at Susan McEachern Memorial Field

Games rescheduled

Wednesday's game between the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry and Kentville Wildcats has been rescheduled to Friday, June 26, at 7:30 p.m., at Memorial Park in Kentville.

Tonight's game between the Halifax Pelham Canadians and Truro Bearcats at the TAAC Grounds in Truro has been postponed because of rain. The game has been rescheduled to Sunday, June 14 at 6 p.m., at the TAAC Grounds.

The changes have been made to the "Schedules" and "Calendar" sections of the website.

Dartmouth, Kentville rained out

Tonight's game between the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry and Kentville Wildcats was postponed with Dartmouth leading 10-9 in the top of the 11th inning and one out.

A rescheduled date will be posted on this website when it is confirmed.

Ryan Veinot had three singles to lead the Halifax Pelham Canadians to a 6-4 win over the Truro Bearcats at the Mainland Common tonight.

Mark Pelham, Adam Lucas and Chris Gallivan all added two hits apiece for the Canadians and Barrett Bellefontaine was the winning pitcher. Guy Pellerine and Tyler Delaney each had two hits for the Bearcats and Craig Higgins took the loss.

Truro, Kentville split twinbill

The Truro Bearcats and Kentville Wildcats split a pair of games today at the TAAC Grounds in Truro. The Bearcats took the opener 5-2, and the Wildcats prevailed 7-4 in the nightcap.
