Dartmouth, Halifax advance to final
The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry and Halifax Pelham Canadians will meet to decide this year's league champion.
Both teams clinched their semifinal series tonight, Dartmouth winning 10-6 in Kentville against the Wildcats, and Halifax defeating the visiting Truro Bearcats 4-2 at the Mainland Common. Dartmouth wins its series 4-2, and Halifax prevails 4-1 in its semi.
A schedule for the championship series is expected to be finalized on Wednesday, Sept. 9. It will be posted on this site as soon as it is finalized.

Dartmouth defends home turf
The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry downed the visiting Kentville Wildcats 11-5 tonight to go up 3-2 in their best-of-seven semifinal series, in which the home team has won every game.
Kentville hosts Game 6 on Tuesday at Memorial Park at 7:30 p.m.

The Halifax Pelham Canadians edged host Truro Bearcats 3-2 tonight at the TAAC Grounds to open up a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven semifinal series.
Barrett Bellefontaine pitched the complete game for Halifax. Craig Higgins took the loss.
Game 5 goes Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., at the Mainland Common in Halifax.

Game 5 is Sunday at Beazley Field in Dartmouth at 7:30 p.m.

The Halifax Pelham Canadians nipped the Truro Bearcats 9-8 tonight in Game 3 of their best-of-seven semifinal series at the Mainland Common in Halifax.
Perry Deveaux was the winning pitcher. Justin Morton took the loss.
Game 4 goes Saturday at the TAAC Grounds in Truro at 7 p.m.
