Dry Mount Huge Comeback, Sooners Move Closer to Playoff Spot
The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry were down to their last strike but still managed to put across 3 runs to tie the game at 4 in the bottom of the ninth. Greg West spoiled a great night by Alex Tufts who pitched into the 9th. Jeff Reeves picked up the win in relief of Shain Boudreau. Matt Thomas RBI single in the bottom of the 10th keeps Dartmouth's hopes alive for a 1st place finish. The two teams meet again Sunday night at 7:30 pm at Beazley Field.
In other action, the Sydney Sooners need to win one game today to clinch a playoff spot after a 10-0 defeat of Truro. Paul Doucette threw a 5-hitter and the Sooners racked 15 hits. The two teams are back in action today at noon for a double header.
