Halifax and Kentville worked overtime last night at the Mainland Common thanks to a two-out ninth inning homer off the bat of Colby Turple, which tied the score at 4, before Jake Pelham scored the winning run on an error in the tenth. Righthander, Mark Haverstock entered in relief of Kyle Donovan and newcomer Jimmy Chang, and allowed only two hits in his four innings of work. Halifax and Sydney are slated to play a three-game weekend series beginning Friday night at the Mainland Common.
