The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry scored six runs in the eighth inning en route to a 9-3 victory and a 3-1 championship series lead over the Kentville Wildcats.
Dartmouth can wrap up the series Friday at Beazley Field at 7:30 p.m.

Rain postpones Game 3

Wet weather in Dartmouth has forced Game 3 of the Kentville-Dartmouth series to be postponed until Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
The schedule for the remainder of the series has been affected as a result. Changes can be viewed by clicking on the "Schedules" or "Calendar" links on the left-hand side of the page.
Wildcats wallop Dry to even series

The Kentville Wildcats pounded out 14 hits and scored six times in the sixth inning en route to an 11-1 triumph over the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry tonight, evening the best-of-seven final at a game apiece. Kentville continues to play well at home, with a 4-0 record so far at Memorial Park in the postseason.
Game 3 is Tuesday at Beazley Field in Dartmouth at 7:30 p.m.

The Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League’s award winners have been decided. All awards were determined by balloting from the member teams. Votes were tabulated by league statistician Burton Russell.
ALL-STAR TEAM
Catcher - Nick Best, Dartmouth Moosehead Dry.
